Dear Mr. Mugno,

I want to thank you for the donation of 140 Lexmark 5770 PhotoJet Printers to Riverside Community Online’s Digital Divide effort. This program, a 501 C 3 non-profit corporation located in the Mayor’s office, is in its fourth month and the community response has been overwhelming. Over 145 high quality computer systems with free Internet access have been installed in targeted areas with high minority and low-income families.

We call this effort “Digital Economic Development”.

Enclosed are several articles on the program along with a recent video describing the “Smart Community Initiative” which includes our Digital Divide effort. Please feel free to share this material with other technology vendors.

I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and any other representative of Lexmark when you are in the Riverside area.

Sincerely,

Ronald O. Loveridge
Mayor
